Today, I celebrate my twentieth anniversary of entering Air Force active duty. This means, that effective today, I’m eligible for retirement. It has been both a short and long twenty years. Some days it feels like it has been a hundred years, and other days it feels like I arrived at Wright-Patterson AFB just yesterday. The good news is that I can retire at any time now. It is a good feeling to have passed that milestone. I still don’t know when I’ll retire. For now, I’m going to enjoy this time just knowing that I can.
