After several weeks of recuperation and not being allowed to run free like a dog, Katrina is doing much better. The knee is healing well and we should be finished with her limited mobility in a couple of weeks. I’m sure she’s looking forward to being able to go on long walks in the woods again. We will be taking her for her last x-rays in about a week, and then we should know how her knee healed.
Everyone is looking forward to this phase being over. We’d like to have the ability to take the dogs with us places without worrying about how far Kat can walk. But for now, she’s cuddled up on the porch sleeping on her favorite blanket.
